When should Aloe Vera Drinking Gel be taken during the day ?

How long can be LR Aloe Vera Drinking Gel consumed after expiry shelf life?

The minimum shelf life is the day on which LR has guarantee that the Drinking Gel has acclaimed quality. Even after expiry of MHD, the product can be used for some time. However, after the expiry of MHD, consumption is responsibility of the consumer and the manufacturer no longer assumes any guarantee.

Is there a risk Aloe Vera Gel to freeze and deteriorate in quality in the cold season?

Freezing has no adverse effect on the quality of the product and on the sensitive ingredients. However, the consistency of the gel must be impaired. Aloe Vera Drinking Gel Honey with 9% honey is changed by the sugar content. This makes it more resistant to cold than pure water. Aloe Vera Drinking Gel liquefies honey only when the temperatures are clearly below zero.

Can I drink LR Aloe Vera Drinking Gel a lifetime?

Yes, it is possible to drink LR Aloe Vera Drinking Gel for a lifetime. There are no restrictions for  healthy consumers.

Can I cut an Aloe Vera plant at home and simply drink the gel?

It is not advisable to consume the pure leaves of the Aloe Vera plant in unprocessed form. It is necessary to separate the bark of the leaves from the inside gel. A layer of aloin, that adheres under the cortex, must be removed before consumption. This should be done under expert guidance. All Aloe Vera drinking gels from LR are regularly tested for aloin.

On the other hand, Aloe Vera has a bitter taste in its pure form. But this is not the only reason that the gel get mixed with honey. This is after an old Aztec recipe. In any case, it is easier to consume the Aloe Vera Drinking Gel Honey from LR.

What is the effect of Aloin?

Aloin is a very powerful laxative, which can lead to diarrhea when taken in high concentrations.

Why does LR only use the Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller for the production of Aloe Vera products? How does it differ from other genres?

There are more than 200 Aloe Vera species. Barbadensis Miller is the only variety that can be used as food. Therefore LR uses exclusively Aloe Vera Barbadensis Miller for the production of its Aloe Vera products. The frequently mentioned aloe arborescens contains a lot of aloin and is not suitable for consumption. The aloin has a very laxative effect. In addition, the gel of this plant is dark brown, very sticky and in short didn´t meet the quality requirements of LR.

What are in-process controls and what role do they play in producing Lr Drinking Gel?

In-process controls are an important and very comprehensive process to monitor the entire manufacturing process step by step. The aloe plant needs the special climate in the highlands of Mexico and is fertilized by the mulch bark, which falls off during the production of the gel. No other fertilizers or pesticides are used. The IASC is a scientific interest group dedicated to the spread and use of knowledge about the positive properties of the Aloe Vera plant. Headquartered in Maryland, (USA), the IASC provides the opportunity to certify Aloe Vera products to the strictest standards, in order to emphasize their quality.

What scientific studies does the IASC make regarding the Aloe Vera plant?

The IASC collaborates with many universities around the world, and has encouraged and published numerous studies on Aloe Vera, e.g. That Aloe Vera increases the bioavailability of the body for vitamin E.

Only 10 years ago, the research situation was extremely bad. It was said aloe has good properties but nobody could explain why. Comprehensive analysis identified the individual ingredients. Aloe is one of the best studied plants today.

Does the IASC also test the production of the Aloe Vera Drinking Gel in Germany?
